Eshop setting up in the ComGate client portal

The e-shop is put in operation by setting up in the client portal. We will send you the login details after our cooperation has been agreed. The client portal allows you to manage the payment gateway settings as well as a list of payment transactions. The implementation settings and testing you will do as follows

  • In the left side menu, you'll find the Technical interconnection section, which includes, among other things, the Test Payments report and an overview of the Test Log.
  • In the Store Settings section, individual bookmarks are available for setting the test and sharp operation.

The shop parameter´s setting includes the following:

  • The URL of the Client's website, where it is possible to buy the goods, or order a service
  • Payment option selected
  • The chosen option of transferring the payment result
  • Telephone number and e-mail address of the Client's info line
  • E-mail address for sending payment notifications to the Client
  • Information on whether the system should send the payments notifications email to a payers
  • Transfer of the payment result in the background (if the e-shop wants to implement it)
  • The clients IP address from which it will connect to the payment gateway server when a background payment is made
  • The Clients web URL for:
    • Redirection when successful payment (PAID payment status)
    • Redirection when failover (payment status CANCELLED)
    • Redirection with an unknown result yet (payment status PENDING)

All three URLs may contain the string "$ {id}", which will automatically be replaced by the unique identifier (code) of payment in the payment gateway and the "$ {refId}" string, which will be automatically replaced by the reference of payment in the Client's system entered when creating a payment

Within the client portal settings, we will provide you with the following information:

  • merchantID - alphanumeric identifier of the Client
  • password - used in HTTP background communication
  • password - used in the test payment listing
  • a list of the currencies, methods and categories of payments which will be allowed within the Client's account

In the Contact Details bookmark, you need to set different email addresses for continual information sending regarding the payments. Besides the email communication, information about payment transactions is passed through the API as well.

Bookmark of linking trade is used to set communication parameters via the API. In case you are using one of the supported platforms, the method of assignment will be individual according to your provider.

In store settings, you'll find the details of the created interconnection that you can view or edit.

EET settings in the ComGate payment gateway

In EET system, the merchant inserts card payments or cash payments. Tax payers send tax details, VAT nonpayers only the total amount. The trader will registers to the EET and downloads the secure communication certificate. Subsequently, the merchant will do the EET interconnection configuration in the client portal interface (Store Settings -> Store -> EET Settings).

Possible settings in the client portal:

  • Recording sales into EET: You can set whether not to register revenue at all, record only card payments or everything.
    • This option is for automatic mode
    • Change your payment records using the "eetReport" parameter
  • EET link settings:
    • Taxpayer ID (including country code)
    • Establishment designation - allocates EET at registration
    • Terminal equipment designation - Unique random name of any cash register within of one facility
    • certificate and password for the certificate - can be obtained while registering EET
    • if the trader is a VAT payer and in case, that the trader is a VAT payer, a starting tax can be set
    • Passing on the EET bill with payment status - is Used to include EET identification data in payment status reporting

Payments can be recorded in two modes:

  • automatic (default) mode allows the merchant to send payments to the EET without having to implement nothing extra in the payment gateway communication protocol. This mode serves VAT non-payers and VAT payers who sell goods at just one tax rate corresponding to the settings on the client portal. If the payment is made in foreign currency, the EET will be registered in CZK, and the conversion rate will be the exchange rate of the given currency announced by the CNB from the previous day.
  • the extended mode requires the payment gateway communication protocol to be modified. The merchant will send into log a complete breakdown of the amount for the EET (see example below, parameter names are according to the EET specification). This regime applies to those who sell goods at multiple VAT rates, travel services, sell and assert vouchers or sell used goods.

The data is forwarded in JSON format, the amounts are denominated in hellers.

The process of recording EET receipts during payment

We note the bill when we learn from the payment channel that the payment has been successfully made. At that point, we contact the EET and pass on the payment information. If automatic mode is set, we will calculate VAT (in case of VAT payer) and we will register the payment. If the merchant sends the custom definition under the extended mode, we will record the payment according to the parameters sent. Into Payer´s email is then send the BKP and FIK codes. If FIK is not available due to a EET system malfunction, we send the PKP code.

If you fail to register a payment online, we'll re-register your payment in the shortest possible time. In this case, we no longer send the payer the FIK code assigned by the EET.

If "Include EET information when transferring payment status" is selected in the EET settings of the client portal, then we add the FIK, PKP, and BPK codes into data the "Transmit Payment Result on background".

EET interface in the client portal

The client portal has an overview of all registered bills into EET system. The details of the payment show the data that was allocated to the payment in connection with the EET (FIK, PKP, BPK), and the data sent to the EET (the tax we have calculated under the automatic mode or the data we have received in the extended mode) .

You can still manually enter a receipt in the client portal for EET registration (e.g. in the case of cash sales). Any receipt can be cancelled in this interface as well (the receipts do not pair in the EET system in any way, you have to enter all the amounts you want to cancel as a negative number).
